I work alongside clients to support & navigate grief and loss.
Grief is a natural and normal emotion that sadly we will all face at various times, and it can enter our lives unexpectedly without warning, and at other times may be something which is more gradual, or not fully within our awareness.
After my Dad died suddenly in 2017 I knew that I would benefit from some professional support to help me work through the depth of grief I experienced, but kept putting it off, trying to put on a brave face. I'd heard of the Grief Recovery Method and finally picked up the phone to find out more.
My approach & understanding of grief and loss was transformed during my own exploration not only of the death of my Dad, but also of the many other losses I hadn't properly acknowledged, and I trained to become an Advanced Grief Recovery Specialist.
I now teach the tools and approach to others as a way of facing up to a range of losses and finding ways to move forward, letting go & moving on from the heaviness of pain whilst being able to retain the good memories and once again smile and enjoy life.
I work with grievers 1:1 and as part of groups, working through a step by step process in a safe and confidential space.
I am also trained to deliver the Helping Children with Loss programme which educates parents, teachers and any adult involved with or responsible for children and young adults in how to communicate and support in working through grief & loss. Additionally, there is a programme specific to pet loss which can be incredibly helpful when we lose our dearly loved members of our extended family.
The Grief Recovery Method is evidence-based, and I am licenced to work both 'in-person' as well as online, meaning that I can support people wherever they are in the world.
If you are feeling lost, empty and unsure of how to move beyond your grief, then please get in touch for an exploratory, no obligation chat about how we might work together.

I had felt overwhelmed with my grief for a long time and was unsure how to process it.
The method Caz coached and supported me through allowed me to view my grief differently and so approach it in a way I hadn't before. Whilst it wasn't easy it never felt forced or hurried.
I ended the programme feeling calmer and more at ease with myself.

It has helped me to explore my feelings around grief and loss in a very safe and supported environment. I felt that everything I talked about was valued and by the end of the 7 week sessions I felt that I had learnt so much about dealing with personal grief and loss.

I had two courses of Bereavement Counselling in the past for two separate bereavements. This course goes way above and beyond in terms of working through grief - it's both explorative and enlightening in ways the previous courses I've done before really weren't.
Even though I did this course years after first experiencing bereavement, there was still an enormous amount of emotional pain and grief I had to process and after the course I felt a real shift happen due to the way the exercises were structured.
